This course covers kick warning signs, well control methods, calculations and non-routine well control situations. Participants are also required to demonstrate the proper response to wellbore and equipment problems using live test well equipment or simulators.
On the final day of this course, students are required to attend the Test Well and exam at Energy Safety Canada in Nisku, AB.
