What is an Energy Safety Canada Auditor?

Energy Safety Canada Auditors play a key role in helping companies achieve and maintain their Certificate of Recognition (COR).

There are two certification tracks for safety auditors:

Internal Auditors are employees who complete training to perform maintenance audits for their own company. They cannot conduct audits for other organizations.

Requirements

  • You can only perform maintenance audits for your own company, and your company must hold a COR with Energy Safety Canada.
  • You must be a full-time employee of the company you will audit.
  • You must complete Energy Safety Canada's two-day Safety program Development Course.
