OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness

This course reviews the rights and responsibilities of employers, supervisors, and workers as outlined in Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation. Employers, supervisors, workers, contractors, and suppliers share responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment. This course explains the intent and purpose of OHS legislation and highlights the key components of the OHS Act, Regulation, and Code.

• Upon successful completion of the exam, a certificate that does not expire will be available to print
• Passing grade on exam 70%
• Participants are given five attempts at the final exam. It is strongly recommended to review all course material between attempts. If all attempts are unsuccessful, re-registration into the course is required. Fees will apply
• Students have access to the course for 90 days from initial registration. If not completed within that time, registration fees will not be reimbursed. See Cancelation Policy
