Serious Incident Event 

Incident Description: 

On May 2, 2021, a D11 dozer was operating above an Electric Shovel at an Oilsands Mine site. While pushing material toward the shovel face, the dozer descended roughly 8 meters over the edge, coming to rest on its right side. The operator, who was wearing a seatbelt, was removed from the cab by nearby support personnel and sustained serious injuries in the fall.
