Summary

The Supervisor Competency Guideline provides guiding principles to help organizations define and support competent supervision in the upstream oil and gas industry.

It outlines the elements of effective supervision and provides a framework organizations can use as a starting point when developing or improving supervisor competency.

The guideline does not prescribe a single training standard or specific educational requirements. Each company determines the competencies required based on its operations.
