Wildfires present serious risks for Western Canada’s oil and gas industry, threatening worker safety, infrastructure integrity, operational and business continuity. Facilities in forested and grassland regions must be prepared for hazards including smoke exposure, equipment-related ignitions, fire encroachment, pipeline damage and emergency evacuations.
