Built by the Industry It Serves.

The Drilling and Completions Committee (DACC) brings together technical experts from across Canada's upstream oil and gas sector to address key operational challenges and develop the guidance that supports safer, more consistent drilling and completions practices.

DACC is governed by four upstream oil and gas trade associations:
Canadian Association of Energy Contractors (CAOEC)
Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP)
Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (EPAC)

Energy Safety Canada's Role

Secretariat & Publisher

Energy Safety Canada serves as the secretariat for the Drilling and Completions Committee (DACC), supporting the development, maintenance, and publication of Industry Recommended Practices (IRPs). 

This includes coordinating technical working groups and facilitating the collaborative process through which IRPs are developed and reviewed.
